Western College is still part of the CompuCollege family as students may transfer to any CompuCollege in Atlantic Canada. Western College specializes in career training, providing a positive and supportive atmosphere where students will gain practical and hands-on skills for the real world.

The college offers convenient, flexible class schedules, running half days, mornings and afternoons, Monday through Friday. The modular system of training provides training in one subject area at a time, enabling students to focus on that particular area, without distraction. Tutoring and career services are available.

Career Services offer assistance in work term and graduate employment placement, as well as skills training in employment readiness. Staff also monitor the ongoing requirements of employers, to keep students abreast of potential employment opportunities after graduation.
